The Perry Family

After rescheduling countless times due to endless summer rain, we finally got to have the most beautiful morning session at North Curly with the beautiful Perry family. And now with the rain continuing to pour down, the golden light & blue sky makes it look like this is an alternate universe!

We just couldn’t believe how lucky we got, and I just absolutely loved every single second of capturing this gorgeous family. Six-month-old Lachie was beyond adorable. It has been an absolutely wild week with devastating floods up in the Northern Rivers and now down in Sydney (hopefully not as bad for us down here), not to mention the ongoing terrifying & heartbreaking situation that’s unfolding in Ukraine. It’s all just completely & utterly overwhelming.

It’s a stark reminder that ultimately nothing really matters, while simultaneously realising that every single thing matters…if that makes sense. Every day matters, every moment spent with our families, getting to simply live our lives the way in which we want to…what an unbelievable blessing & privilege. It’s made me just want to capture moments like these for beautiful, wonderful families forever and evermore. It’s reminded me how important it all really is.
